Hilary McMahon is a Senior Associate with WRI’s international climate policy team. She leads WRI’s work on a range of areas including building efficiency, climate in development policy and efficiency options in water and agriculture.

Hilary has a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and French from University College Dublin, a Masters degree in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe, Bruges, and an Erasmus in Political Science specializing in Chinese politics from the University of Lausanne.

She came to WRI from the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, where she worked on capacity building for member companies on energy and climate issues. Hilary has also worked at the Institute of European Affairs, the Institute for International Integration Studies and in the industry group UNIFE in Brussels, Belgium.
