Kristi Ragan specializes in working with private sector clients at the intersection of business and international development for Development Alternatives, Inc., a development consultancy in Bethesda, Maryland. At present, Ms. Ragan serves as DAI’s Chief of Party on assignment to the US Agency for International Development, in the Global Development Alliances office.
Ms. Ragan has designed successful public-private partnerships that deliver both business and social value during her 20 years of experience managing global development programs in Asia, the Pacific and East Africa. Ms. Ragan is an Adjunct Professor in Georgetown's Graduate School of Foreign Service, where she teaches public-private partnership management. She is co-chair of the Society for International Development's Working Group on Corporate Responsibility in Washington D.C.
Previously, Kristi served as Peace Corps Country Director in Côte D'Ivoire and as a Senior Manager for over a decade with the UNDP in Nepal, Somalia and the Pacific Rim. She holds an MS in foreign service from Georgetown University and an MA from St. John's College.
